Central to any support we give is a belief that that people, passion and plan are the three key things to get things done in neighbourhoods, communities and organisations.

Often all three elements exist but are not in balance, for example all passion and no plan leads to frustrated people, while all plan and no passion leads to disillusioned people!

Supporting you to achieve the balance within your community or organisation is what we are about.

 

We understand the importance of ensuring that people are given the opportunity to be actively and purposefully involved. As a consequence, we always work with the view that solutions are always individual to local communities, and local ‘ownership’ is always part of the solution.

Inclusivity is key to the work we do and we are aware of issues that need to be addressed when working with diverse groups of people; e.g. cultural sensitivity, timing of meetings, accessibility of venue, child care provision.

We believe in reaching decisions through consensus as a truly inclusive process inevitably leads to solutions that are owned by everyone.
